Hello TWB Family,

The Washington Ballet hit the ground running in October with an unprecedented two-week run of a wildly theatrical and breathtaking premiere of Michael Pink’s Dracula. TWB dancers, audiences and critics sank their teeth into one of the most paramount productions of the season and were thrilled with its story of passion, seduction, transformation and sacrifice, as well as the stunning and sensuous dancing. If you missed the show, you definitely missed a treat; however, you can always check out performance highlights below and production photos HERE.

Although Dracula kept us all busy, we are already diving-into the holiday season with The Nutcracker. The dancers, along with several hundred talented (and adorable) students from The Washington School of Ballet have been working fearlessly around the clock to bring you DC’s most acclaimed holiday ballet.

Filled with magic and marvels, TWB performs The Nutcracker like none other! Traveling back in time to historic 1882 Georgetown, the production stars our old friend, George Washington, as the Nutcracker. Keep the your holiday spirit alive and join us on this wild romp through historic DC. Performed to Tchaikovsky’s beloved score, paired with magnificent costumes and landscapes, the historic Warner Theatre is brought to life with waltzing cherry blossoms, dancing sugar plums, wild Indians and other enchanting adaptations in this audience favorite. So don’t hesitate to spread holiday cheer and purchase your (or gift ) tickets NOW! (for more information on nutcracker tickets click here)
