JETE Society

The Jeté Society is a group of young professionals dedicated to advancing the mission of The Washington Ballet by supporting its fundraising goals and catalyzing interest in and support for its programs and productions. The Jeté Society does this by holding fundraising events throughout the year and through its Washington School of Ballet student scholarship fund. Jeté Society membership is offered at two affordable levels, each with exclusive member benefits.

Grand Jeté members pay tax deductible annual dues of $150 and receive a 15% discount on tickets to TWB’s professional performances; discounted tickets to Jeté Society events, including our popular beerandballet open rehearsal series and Jeté Society Dance Party, the hottest young professionals event in the city; a 10% discount on a ticket to TWB’s Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction; the opportunity to purchase a Jeté Society Season Package, which allows members to buy bundled performance and event tickets at a deep discount; discounted tickets to each of the current Season’s In the Wings lectures hosted by TWB Artistic Director Septime Webre, the opportunity to receive a backstage tour of the Kennedy Center’s Eisenhower Theater, Warner Theatre or Harman Center for the Arts; and Select discounts to events held by other Washington DC young professionals groups such as Washington National Opera’s Generation O and The Phillips Collection’s Contemporaries group.

Jeté Society Nutcracker Party

Join the Jeté Society for cocktails and holiday cheer following a performance of Septime Webre’s popular DC-centric version of The Nutcracker. Always held at an exclusive DC hotspot, Jeté Society members partied the night away at George in 2009 and at The Rookery in 2008.

Jeté Society Dance Party

Chaired by Winston Bao Lord and Ashley Taylor, the annual Jeté Society Dance Party is a can't-miss event featuring live music by today’s hottest local bands, sumptuous hors d’oeuvres, well-stocked open bars and, of course, plenty of dancing.

Jeté Society Happy Hours

Mix and mingle with other Jeté Society members at these fun post-work parties held at such glamorous venues as The Sofitel.

beerandballet

Each beerandballet event gives you a behind-the-scenes look at one of TWB's upcoming professional ballets in our intimate England Studio Theater. Following the rehearsal you can grab a beer and talk one-on-one with TWB dancers at a catered reception in our Fannie Mae Gallery. beerandballet is $25 for non-Jeté Society members and $15 for members.
