All Ballet events directly support our education and outreach programs, so you can feel good while having a great time. Known as the institution who KNOWS how to throw a party, The Washington Ballet once again delivers an event season with all the right festiveness, company and most of all, the hottest moves on the dance floor. The Nutcracker Tea

Kick off your family’s holiday festivities by celebrating at the Washington Ballet’s Nutcracker Tea Party! A quintessential Washington, D.C. holiday tradition, the Nutcracker Tea Party is held annually at the beautiful Willard Intercontinental Hotel, and is a delight for ballet lovers of all ages. In addition to holiday entertainment and a buffet of sweets and treats, you and your children meet the dancers and pose for professional photographs with the Nutcracker cast. The Tea Party immediately follows following the 1:00 p.m. matinee performance of Septime Webre’s The Nutcracker at the Warner Theatre.

Noche de Bolero: Wine Tasting & Auction

One of the Ballet’s most glamorous occasions, The Women’s Committee’s Sixth Annual Wine Tasting & Auction at Meridian House International was a glittering affair in an elegant setting. Guests enjoyed fine Spanish wines, delectable dishes, convivial conversation and a chance to win exotic vacations, luxury items, art objects, entertainment and dining packages and other temptations.
