Robert Mulvey

ROBERT MULVEY of Bethesda, Maryland is in his first season with The Washington Ballet’s Studio Company. Mr. Mulvey has trained at The Washington School of Ballet under the direction of Kee Juan Han and at the San Francisco Ballet School under full scholarship with Parrish Maynard, Patrick Armand, Jorge Esquivel and Lola DeAvila. Robert has attended numerous summer programs around the country in San Francisco, Washington DC, Houston, and Martha's Vineyard. While in San Francisco, he had the opportunity to perform in Balanchine's Coppelia, Western Symphony, Petrushka, and Helgi Tomasson's Nutcracker. Mr. Mulvey has also had the opportunity to perform with The Washington Ballet in Septime Webre's Cinderella and The Nutcracker. This summer, Mr. Mulvey performed in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe with The Washington Ballet Studio Company. Robert was awarded the Mary Day Scholarship and has received a gold medal at the Youth America Grand Prix Torrington Semi-Final both in 2009.
