
ELIZABETH TRESCHUUR is an artist originally from the Washington DC area that experiments in mixed media, film, and stage in regards to social constructions of the body. She is a graduate of the Washington School of Ballet and former company member. She transitioned into contemporary work in LA for the past 4 years where she produced and directed award winning films and stage productions. Elizabeth holds a BFA in Dance from Towson University and an MFA in Dance from UCLA where she taught ballet and modern for 2 years. She has been adjunct faculty for the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in LA and a guest artist with Santa Monica College and Howard County Community College. She currently is on faculty at the Washington School of Ballet and City Dance Center.
