AUDITIONS
The Washington Ballet, under the visionary leadership of new Artistic Director Edwaard Liang, invites exceptional dancers to join our ensemble company. We seek classically trained dancers with the ability to perform a wide range of repertoire. We value dancers who embrace our company’s commitment to equity, inclusion, and a collaborative ensemble approach.
Repertoire: The Washington Ballet’s repertoire includes a wide range of dance from iconic classical ballets to contemporary and modern works by renowned and emerging choreographers and celebrated international artists.
The Washington Ballet Company Dancers are represented by the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA). Guaranteed contract length- 36 weeks
Audition type: Open call audition. Simply complete the registration through DanceApply (There is a video submission option but in person is preferred when possible)
Company and Studio Company Positions: We are currently accepting applications for both Company and Studio Company positions.

Please complete your registration HERE through DanceApply. When filling out the registration, dancers aged 18-23 should select the Studio Company program, dancers above 23 should select the Company program.
Dates and Locations:
The application for each audition will close three days prior to each audition for administration. The portal will then reopen the day of each audition to allow for walk-ins.
