Ella Berton began dancing at The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at age
4. In 2017, Ella moved to North Bethesda, Maryland and continued her training with CityDance School
and Conservatory, under Ballet Master Stanislav Issaev, and Artistic Director Lorraine Spiegler.
Ella’s solo variations repertoire at CityDance has included variations from Aurora Act I-III Sleeping Beauty
(M.Petipa), Gamzatti La Bayadere (M.Petipa), Medora Le Corsaire (M.Petipa), Three Odalisque Le
Corsaire (M.Petipa), Paquita (M.Petipa), Three Shades La Bayadere (M.Petipa), Princess Florine Sleeping
Beauty (M.Petipa), Cupid Don Quixote (A.Gorsky), Talisman (M.Petipa, P.Gusev), and Odile Swan Lake
(A.Gorsky). Ella has also danced in contemporary pieces created by Lorraine Spiegler, Alexe Neoral,
Therese Gahl, Robert J. Priore, Red Sky Performance, PHILADANCO! and Koresh Dance Company. While
at CityDance, Ella was chosen as a XII USA Jackson International Ballet Competition competitor and has
placed at YAGP regional ballet competitions and invited to finals yearly.
In addition to attending ABT NY summer intensives every year since 2016, she has also attended the
summer intensive program at Paris Opera. Ella is both fluent in French and English, and holds dual
citizenship in the United States and France.
