Hunter Atherton is a native of Texas where she studied Art History and Business at Rice University. She completed her Master’s in Arts Management at George Mason University, where she held the Fellow of Fundraising and Development position. Her love of the arts stems from studying ballet and visual art in her childhood, and her work at a nonprofit consulting company helped to bloom her passion for arts management and organizational relationship building. Hunter worked with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts before joining The Washington Ballet.
Hunter loves to explore DC, read extensively, travel to new places, take art classes, and try to keep her plants alive.
