Natanya’s daughter, a third-generation ballet dancer, also trained at the school, and Natanya continues to humbly attend adult ballet classes. In addition to supporting The Washington Ballet, her hobbies include skiing, traveling, and time on the Chesapeake.

Professionally, Natanya is a leading private wealth lawyer with the firm of Ivins, Phillips & Barker. She represents a wide range of clients, including business owners, corporate executives, private investors, professional athletes, public figures, art collectors, beneficiaries of inherited wealth, and charitable organizations. A significant number of Natanya’s clients are philanthropists, and she is privileged to have a role in their charitable work. She also represents many of the private foundations and public charities her clients establish and support.

Natanya was previously a partner at Cochran Allan, a boutique trusts and estates law firm, and BakerHostetler, a national firm. Concurrently with her private practice, she served for ten years as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown Law, where she taught estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax courses in the Tax LLM Program. Natanya attended Princeton University and Fordham Law School. She lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with her husband and two teenage children.
