Zy Orvis has studied at the Washington School of Ballet for eleven years. He has also attended summer intensives at the San Francisco and Pacific Northwest Ballet Schools. Zy loves performing and has been cast in a variety of company and school productions. He is very excited to be a trainee for the 24/25 season.

Hometown: Chevy Chase, Maryland
Claire is excited to join the Trainee program after training at the Washington School of Ballet for the last three years. Claire originally hales from Indianapolis, IN and began her serious ballet training with Indiana Ballet Conservatory. After relocating to the DMV area. Claire danced with Kirov Academy of Ballet and the Washington School of Ballet. Claire’s recent summer intensives have included the Sarasota Ballet, Bolshoi and John Cranko School. Claire was also selected to be a member of the Kennedy Center Master Ballet program in 2022-23. Claire is currently a senior at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and lives with her family in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
